Glad påsk / Happy Easter

I felt like I wanted to bring a little bit of joy to the world, during these times. And since I love to relax with coloring pages, why not make one myself and let others enjoy it to?

Glad påsk / Happy Easter

It’s not perfect, far from it, but it’s made with heart and soul. I’ve included a pdf with three different variations of the drawing. With/without text, and one more centered.

It’s made in A4 size. You should be able to print just one of the pages by choosing which page to print in the settings.

I might add one extra drawing with even less details if someone wants it, please let me know.

Do you usually do anything special during Easter, if so, what will you do during this special Easter that we are facing with social distancing and quarantines

Elements of art

So I’m still trying to get used to drawing on my iPad, but I can’t get rid of the nagging feeling that I’m “cheating” when drawing digitally. I know that it isn’t less real than traditional art, just a different method.

Elements

I’m having some issues figuring out which brushes that works best for me and my methods. I’m thinking about downloading some brushes but I’ll wait a bit longer so I try to get used to the standard ones in Procreate.

Oh well, some day I’ll find something that feels more right for me, until then there will be a lot of experimenting and who knows, maybe I’ll find something really awesome down that path

Digital drawings

Been drawing some digital landscapes . No they aren’t perfect but a great practice. It’s so different to draw digitally than traditional.

For both drawings I’ve used Procreate and an apple pen. I love how Procreate and the pen works, exactly as I wanted my drawing tablets to do.

It isn’t my tablets fault that I didn’t use them, it’s just my brain that doesn’t accept to draw where I’m not looking. I know I probably should learn but at the same time it doesn’t feel necessary.

Anyway, do you have a drawing tablet, pen display or some tablet that works with drawing? What do you prefer and why?

Tried to make some new Twitch panels for my page. I need to have our cats on them, so I tried to make some in Inkscape

They aren’t the most professional panel-art ever, but they are MINE!
Someday, hopefully soon, I’ll be brave enough to actually stream

Joined Journal52 and this is what I came up with on my first page. Didn’t want it to be anything that took to much of my energy so it’s a really simple page.
